\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tEverything was made with hemp, fabrics, flour and food products. World prohibition from the Second World War onwards has meant that this plant was gradually put aside. Certainly before then in Canepina (VT), hemp, from which the town takes its name, has always been cultivated and transformed. The ancient name Canapina, mentioned for the first time in an 11th century document, originates from the cultivation of this plant.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe "cannabis sativa" that was grown in Canepina belongs to the same family of plants as the "cannabis indaca" which however has a high content of narcotic substances. The Arletti brothers with their passion and love for the territory have decided to re-propose, in the AgriRistoro \u201cIl Calice & la Stella\u201d, the food use of Cannabis Sativa. Re-launching an ancient but forgotten ingredient on the table, also in light of the 2009 legislation of the Italian Ministry of Health which recognized the nutritional properties of hemp for human health. In fact, hemp is rich in carbohydrates, vitamins, crude fiber and mineral salts, but also in high quality proteins, soluble and insoluble fibers and essential fatty acids, and in the kitchen it can be found as flour, in leaves, seeds or oil, and it has a pleasant sweet taste when tasted.\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tFor a long time the healing properties and the thousand possibilities of use of hemp have been known, even if those specifically related to the world of cooking are not so widespread. In fact, much is known of how, for example, from the Middle Ages onwards, the fiber of this plant was used to obtain fabrics for clothing and for naval use, such as sails and ropes, while recipes are much less common. Inspired by the ancient tradition, starting from 2015 the menu card will therefore be enriched with new dishes. Cannabis-based hay will certainly be present among the first courses of handmade pasta. In addition, fettuccine, tagliatelle and gnocchi made with hemp sativa flour. There will certainly be second courses and finally, bread, focaccia, jams, desserts, beer and many other products that are currently being reworked.\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
